All About That Masked Mentality
Goalies are different. Not in the conventional way people tend to think. I mean yes, to get vulcanized rubber shot at you, you must be a little different.Ā
But goalies approach the game differently. It's the only constant variable in all of sports; the only position where you're on the playing surface the WHOLE time.
Being a goalie, there's a certain mentality that goes into it and we call that:
Masked Mentality Company
The Masked Mentality Company is a brand dedicated & specific to goalies. Ice hockey goalies are unique, one of a kind, rare breads, we could go on & on. Point is, we're special. There should be a brand that encompasses that.
As a goalie, you need a certain mindset. A steel trap, quick memory, chip on your shoulder, you've probably heard all of those. That's the mentality.
That's the MASKED MENTALITY.
What's the masked mentality?
Heart
You need to love the game. When it becomes your burning passion, the ups & downs are easier to manage.
Determination
If you're not playing with a goal in mind (punny, right?) then why are you even playing?
Desire
You WANT & NEED to stop that puck. It doesn't satisfy you until you've faced numerous shots & shut them all down.
